Shaquille O’Neal took time away from his current role as an NBA analyst to relax on the beach with his rumoured fiancee Laticia Rolle.

The 7ft 1in basketball legend, who is now a pundit on television show Inside the NBA, towered over his 5ft 6in girlfriend on Miami Beach in Florida.

 

In the sunny temperatures, O’Neal wore all white and was holding a red Al Fakher box while Rolle was sporting a colourful one piece.

Rolle was a basketball player herself at college and sported a colourful dress on Miami BeachO’Neal, one of the NBA’s most iconic players, married Shaunie Nelson in December 2002 and the couple have four children.

 

They divorced in 2007, with the now 44-year-old former Orlando Magic star now dating Rolle.

The pair seem a good match, with Rolle having played basketball at Eckerd College.

Their relationship has seen plenty of rumours that O’Neal may be willing to propose to Rolle and give marriage another go.

In March of this year, the American legend posted a comment on one of Rolle’s Instagram pictures which read: ‘Will you marry me’. Her response read: ‘Yes I will. Today, tomorrow, and forever yours.’

While confusion continues over whether or not the pair are actually set to marry, Shaq certainly seemed loved up in his latest public appearance.

These days he has plenty of spare time on his hands, his views on the NBA and the new season gaining plenty of respect due to his huge experience in the sport.

 

Shaq started his career with the Magic before going on to play for Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.

He was an NBA champion in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2006 and was named most valuable player in 2000.
