Anthony Fauci’s Wife Fired From NIH

Christine Grady, a prominent bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health and spouse of Dr. Anthony Fauci, was dismissed by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Federal officials acquainted with the latest layoffs indicated that Grady was dismissed partly due to her failure to investigate the possibility that the COVID-19 pandemic originated from a laboratory leak in Wuhan.

A representative from HHS informed the press that this decision was part of a broader strategy at NIH to shift focus away from pandemic preparedness and towards more immediate concerns. Grady was not the sole bioethicist to be terminated; her research examines the likelihood of future pandemics.

Others were reassigned to positions in remote locations such as Alaska, Montana, and Minnesota, far from their original residences. It remains uncertain whether Grady received a similar relocation offer.

Although Grady’s colleagues commended her contributions, they recognized that her marriage to Fauci—a political adversary of President Trump—complicated her tenure at the agency.

A source informed the Daily Caller that Grady is regarded as “a commendable individual facing a significant conflict of interest.”

One of the issues during the concealment of the Wuhan lab leak incident was the disregard for ethical counsel, as stated by the official.

They noted that had there been an individual present with expertise in ethics, they might have posed the question: ‘Would you prefer to handle this matter in this manner, or opt for greater transparency?’ This is a role that Christine Grady could have, or should have, fulfilled; however, her relationship with Fauci prevented her from doing so.

At the very least, one must acknowledge that he misjudged the situation when the nation was in need of leadership. He appeared on television frequently; in fact, I have never witnessed anyone conduct as many TV interviews as he did,” he remarked. The Republican governor then humorously noted, “I wondered why he wasn’t analyzing the data, and it occurred to me that it was because he was constantly engaged in interviews. That explains his lack of focus on the data.”

Concerning Biden’s pardon, DeSantis remarked that it has indeed attracted additional scrutiny towards Fauci. He stated, ‘The matter at hand is that Biden issued a preemptive pardon for him, which is peculiar, considering that if he had committed no wrongdoing, there would be no need for such an action. This raises the question of potential state actions. I believe the pardon has increased the likelihood that states will investigate this further,’ the governor expressed.

He further stated that if Biden had not granted a pardon to Fauci, it is probable that state attorneys general would not have pursued any investigation into the former chief immunologist.

I believe that if Biden had not granted him a pardon, the states would not have taken such actions, according to DeSantis.

DeSantis stated, “I believe they would have yielded to the Trump administration. The potential repercussions for Fauci arise from the possibility that, even if Biden chose not to grant him a pardon, the Trump administration could have initiated legal action against Fauci in Washington, D.C. However, it is unlikely that an individual from the political establishment would face prosecution. If the jury consists of members from this establishment, they are likely to deliver a verdict of not guilty, as they tend to safeguard their own.”

He subsequently stated: “When examining various other states, it is likely that the jury pools will differ significantly. Therefore, I believe this is not the conclusion of the matter. It is quite possible that the new Attorney General in Florida will initiate a similar investigation, and I also expect that other states may follow suit, which could ultimately backfire on Fauci. Although Biden aimed to protect him from facing consequences, this may have inadvertently triggered state-level initiatives to hold him accountable.”
