Clint Eastwood has every reason to celebrate. His daughter, Morgan Eastwood (27), announced on Instagram yesterday that she and her husband, Tanner Kupmens, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Klio. In Greek mythology, Klio is the muse of history, and the name translates to “herald,” with meanings such as “to make famous,” “to celebrate,” “glory,” and “to praise.”

“Two weeks with our Klio,” wrote the proud mother. Grandma Dina Fisher also chimed in, saying, “Our lives are already better! Congratulations to you! Happiness for us!”

Morgan is Clint Eastwood’s eighth child and his only daughter with his ex-wife, Dina, who remarried basketball coach Scott Fisher after their divorce. The legacy of the legendary actor and director, Morgan announced on May 23 that she was expecting.

The writer and producer married Thomas Kupmens on June 15 at Clint Eastwood’s ranch in Carmel, California. The actor described his daughter’s wedding as “PERFECT,” and he was seen gently caressing her baby bump.

Morgan told People that their wedding was very European-inspired and absolutely perfect. “We wanted every element to be as relaxed as possible. I did my own makeup and hair, chose some inexpensive earrings, and wore heels I had worn before.”

The couple got engaged last June; while Morgan preferred a more intimate ceremony, her husband envisioned a larger celebration. They reached a compromise, resulting in a joyful occasion attended by close friends and family.
