Golf legend Tiger Woods has been confirmed to be dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. whom she got divorced from back in 2018 after 12 years of marriage
Golf legend Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., are an item.
It has been confirmed the pair are dating, and have been so “quietly for several months” before their relationship recently became public knowledge. Woods and Trump, a former model, got together around Thanksgiving, and live around only 20 minutes apart from each other in Palm Beach where their children, Kai Trump, Charlie Woods and Sam Woods all attend The Benjamin School together.
A source told the MailOnline earlier this month: “Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving. She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week.
“They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”
However, they have now since gone public, with Woods taking to social media to share the news of their relationship.
The 15-time major winner, who also attached two photos of himself and Trump, wrote: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
While Woods and Trump will likely find themselves having to deal with plenty of media and public interest into their relationship, it will likely be nothing the pair haven’t experienced before – particularly given the latter’s marriage to Donald Trump Jr.
The two, who share five children, divorced back in 2018 after having first got engaged back in 2004. However, it seems as though the son of U.S. President Donald Trump’s involvement in politics may have led to their divorce in 2018.
A New York Times article from 2018, detailing how the pair got together and ended up divorcing, revealed Trump Jr.’s ex-wife was left shaken when she opened a letter addressed to him sent to her mother’s rental apartment that contained white powder.
While it was later confirmed to be cornstarch, the incident, which happened in February 2018, would likely leave any person shaken.
Additionally, the New York Times also cite there was a difference in opinion early on in their relationship when it came to Donald Jr.’s love for hunting, with Christine Schott, Trump’s former manager and publicist, telling the New York Times: “I know she wasn’t thrilled that he hunted as he did. I know she wanted to keep it on the DL. She knew that was going to be a big issue, socially.”
The couple released a statement at the time of their divorce. It read: “After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
