The “Unforgiven” and “Gran Torino” filmmaker is set to direct the legal drama “Juror No. 2″ for his longtime studio, Warner Bros., a person close to the production who requested anonymity because she wasn’t authorized to comment publicly confirmed Friday.

The film will be Eastwood ’s first since 2021’s neo-Western “Cry Macho,” which also marked his return to the screen as an actor. With production on “Juror No. 2” to begin in June, Eastwood will be 93 when he steps on set.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After nearly 70 years in the movie business, Clint Eastwood is one of the most well-known figures in entertainment. In 1966, he received one of his most famous roles that cemented him as an actor, when he starred in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Another career-defining role would come in 1971, when he starred as the title character in Dirty Harry. In the 1970s, Clint also started directing movies, and he’s received acclaim as a director. Some of his most popular movies include the musical Jersey Boys and Sully. He’s also starred in a number of films he’s directed including Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby, and Unforgiven. He won directing academy awards for Unforgiven in 1993 and Million Dollar Baby in 2005.

Throughout his life, Clint has been married twice: to Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984, and to Dina Ruiz from 1996 to 2013. He also had long relationships with actresses Sondra Locke from 1975 to 1989 and Frances Fisher from 1990 to 1995. He’s had eight children.
