Trailer released for horror film so scary crew members said they’ll never be the same again

The actor had a ‘hard time stomaching’ some scenes

The trailer for Damien Leone’s ‘Terrifier 3’ has been released, a film which is said to be so frightening its crew said they would never be the same.

It sees the return of Art The Clown, the killer clown who has unleashed a reign of terror at Halloween in the previous two instalments of the franchise.

However, this time, Art’s evil antics will occur at Christmas time and promises plenty of baubles, bloodshed and the world’s freakiest Father Christmas.

In the trailer we see Art in a rocking chair looking satanic, a group of unsuspecting children waiting for a terrifying mall Santa holding an axe.

It is tipped to be the best film in the franchise so far.

The official synopsis says: “After surviving Art the Clown’s (David Howard Thornton) Halloween massacre, Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and her brother are struggling to rebuild their shattered lives.

“As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the Christmas spirit and leave the horrors of the past behind. But just when they think they’re safe, Art the Clown returns, determined to turn their holiday cheer into a new nightmare.”

Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam and AEW wrestler Chris Jericho all return for ‘Terrifier 3’.

In an interview with Empire, Art actor David Howard Thornton said: “There’s one particular thing I have a hard time stomaching.

“I don’t want to say what it was, but I almost vomited. Of course, everybody thought it was hysterical that I was having that reaction. Like: ‘Oh, we finally got him!’”

He went on to say that one sequence in the threequel will be ‘very controversial’.

He said: “People are gonna be surprised by the depravity that we get up to in that scene.”

The actor said he gets a ‘little giddy’ about the gore, telling Empire: “To me, it’s cartoon violence. I just like trying things that people haven’t seen before.”
