As Yellowstone prequel 1923 continues to film in Central Texas, the production’s casting company remains in need of background actors. This time, the casting call is asking for actors who can strut their stuff on the dance floor, 1920s-style.

Legacy Casting is currently seeking people who enjoy dancing with partners, according to an Instagram post from Wednesday, August 28. In an updated caption, the company said it is primarily in need of more male dancers who know how to do the foxtrot, an early 1900s-era ballroom dance characterized by smooth, flowing movements similar to a waltz.

To apply, you should submit a current photo, name, age, phone number and the city where you are currently residing to both emails dancers1923@gmail.com and extras@legacycasting.com. The company said both partners and individual dancers should apply, and filming for this scene will take place all day on Thursday, September 12, in Austin.

The deadline to apply for this particular opportunity is Tuesday, September 3. Those who are selected to dance may be fitted as early as Friday, August 30, of this week or sometime next week.

1923 began filming in locations around Central Texas, including in Austin, San Antonio and Bartlett, a small town about 52 miles north of Austin, on July 8. Legacy Casting owner Andrei Constantinescu previously told MySA that filming will tentatively last until mid-September.

The casting company is updating its socials with more background casting opportunities. So if you’re interested in potentially being on TV, it may be a good idea to keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook.
